The MTV Video Music Awards are in four weeks, and as of now they do not have a headlining act. Beyoncé is at the top of their wish list, but there’s one condition – she must perform without her husband, Jay Z. Insiders say “MTV is still working everything out, but they want her to open the show with a big production. MTV wants her and they want her solo.” There’s enough tension already in the marriage before MTV starts driving a wedge between the 2. Beyoncé is nominated for the most awards. Iggy Azalea and Eminem could also launch the VMAs because both are nominated 7 times.

Justin Bieber continues to stir the pot when it comes to his scuffle with Orlando Bloom the other night.  Justin’s latest dig at Bloom was on Instagram when he posted a close-up of Bloom wiping a tear off of his face during a red carpet premiere.  The photo was originally taken late last year during the Romeo & Juliet Broadway premiere. Bloom became emotional as he was comforted by his Juliet co-star Condola Rashad at the opening night and after-party in New York. Bieber’s corny.

Meanwhile, there’s a petition on asking President Obama to proclaim July 29 National Orlando Bloom Day. The petition reads: “On a fateful evening this July 29, 2014 actor Orlando Bloom fed the Pop Music miscreant Justin Bieber a knuckle-sandwich on behalf of the entire civilized world. This is something you, as the leader of the free world, must reward with an executive order declaring July 29 as a national holiday honoring Orlando Bloom. We compel you to do right by every civilized and cultured human being walking this earth by exercising your power for this most just of causes.”

Six weeks after his Star Wars mishap it looks like Harrison Ford is mending well. Han Solo ventured out to a Starbucks in Santa Monica last night  with a slight limp, but free from his ankle brace.
