Police arrived shortly after that call, along with the FBI. After a pulmonary investigation, Isra was taken into custody for attempted kidnapping. He was released on bail and is currently awaiting a criminal trial.
New York State Department of Social and Health Services also showed up on the scene and helped Connie on a number of different areas of relief.
Connie is currently living with her sister in Rockland County, and from what we understand is doing well but is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Connie is also planing on pressing charges regarding a civil case.
