A private conversation between James Franco and a teenage girl surfaced online yesterday— but the actor insists nothing improper took place. In the chat, Franco appears to ask a 17-year-old named Lucy whether she wants to meet up, and if he should get a hotel room. The two apparently connected after Lucy met him at an autograph signing Tuesday, and she tagged him in photos and videos on her Instagram account. After the leaked exchange made the rounds, Franco tweeted that he’s “NOT” soliciting girls for sex. “I’M NOT! I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you.” It appears Franco may have been looking for nothing more than a connection.
