Yesterday was moving day, stage 1.  Anyone who's ever moved before knows what a pain it is.  However, I must say... not too bad this time around.  The biggest bulk was to be the furniture and HOORAY, that's done! 

Everyone we have encountered through this process has been nothing short of outstanding.

We still have work to do.  I have a ton of those tiny Styrofoam pieces floating around that for some reason the Swiffer will not pick up & all my cleaning supplies are at the old place. ::Mental Head Slap::

The rest of our stuff is being moved on Friday, and Saturday, cable/internet.  Come Sunday, we'll be watching Game of Thrones from the new place.  Exciting!

In other news, I'm totally obsessed with this game: 

Be warned.  It's wildly addictive.  If you're unable to beat a round, you can keep trying to pass it a number of times.  Unfortunately, there's a limit where if you still can't get past it, you can buy more tries or put the game down and wait to recharge.  I see how it works.  It takes every ounce of my will power to put the game down.

I love to clean!  Thanks to my sister for posting this on FB - I thought I'd share:

This obviously is where my cleaning obsession originated... we used to love this movie as a kid!  Haha.

She really is a beauty isn't she?  That's my Adrian outside in the spring sunshine.  When I'm not doing radio, this is where I like to hang... literally. 

We learned a few new positions and then did tons of endurance training... pull-ups, inverted sit-ups, leg raises... anything Amy could think of to torture us with.  I will thank her though when I start seeing six-pack abs.  ;)

And if that weren't ambitious enough for you, FLYING was right after.  (Although Mel and I decided to start late and enjoy a healthy salad first.)  There's something exhilarating about being outdoors in nice weather.

I wasn't quite sure what to work on since I'm sick of layouts, and haven't been feeling strong enough for uprises... so I tried something I had never tried before:  (This is called a hocks saulto)

Pardon my weak swing... I definitely tweaked my back again from not stretching well enough.

This trick has a few steps involved.  First, you swing out.  On the way back you lift into a straddle (hands are together, side-by-side in the middle of the bar).  The hardest part is holding that straddle until the "legs" call... where you hook your knees on the bar.  "HEP" "HEP" are the next two calls that come pretty quickly after.  The first "hep" is arching back with your knees hooked.  The second is releasing your knees and tucking. 

LOOK for the catcher!  Obvi. this was super-low and traveled, but I know what I'm doing wrong and plan to fix it up next time!
