The 25 year-old (yes, she's lying), started her radio career as an intern at a Long Island radio station and worked her way through the ranks. After two hops across The Long Island Sound, full-time radio experience and various voice-over projects, she landed her dream job working in Market 1 radio and expanding her brand across the country. In addition, Wendy can also be heard on The Weekend Throwdown with Jagger in her "What's Up with Wendy" segment, and as a voice on The Weekend Top 30 Countdown, two nationally syndicated programs.

An adventure like no other...
I hope Thanksgiving for you was as much fun as it was for us.
Once we arrived, my dad proudly displayed this piece in the middle of our table:
Maybe I should explain what this is exactly. For my birthday last year he hired a recommended artist to sculpt a radio girl (me.) At first I thought he was super sweet (and so creative) for coming up with such an original gift. I was also moved that he is obviously so proud of his girls that he would even fathom such an idea. However, another part of me was kind of like - "Who has that big of an ego that they would have a sculpture of themselves?!" Is it wrong to think that?! Anyway... a year later the piece is complete. It's NOT what I expected - it's so interesting and cool all at the same time. It is the sort of thing that people comment on when they visit your home. And yes, I do have her proudly displayed! She's almost got a life of her own... in fact... check her out photobombing this next picture!
There's a lot going on in this one. My sister and I are technically adults, but not really. Ha.
As the night went on, there were beautiful sights to behold...
THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS HERE!
Then more beautiful things:
Or not. That's my cousins' weird creepy dance. He's got some moves though! Again, hope your Holiday was great!

From my family to yours - wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Let's hope the wind stays tame so that these amazing balloons can take flight at the parade later. The SpongeBob balloon in particular is one I'm looking forward to.
Click here for a trip back in time to see some balloons from parades past. Is it me, or are these a little creepy? My, how styles have changed through the decades. Interesting.
For all my foodies out there who are not keen on eating 4,500 calories later (the typical Thanksgiving meal), feel free to try a few of these recipes on for size courtesy of my talented sister-in-law who runs Lexi's Clean Kitchen.
Yum yum yum... is 7am too early to eat? I think I may go back to bed until the parade starts. Again, have a wonderful Holiday and enjoy the company of loved ones today.
Oh my... HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
