The 25 year-old (yes, she's lying), started her radio career as an intern at a Long Island radio station and worked her way through the ranks. After two hops across The Long Island Sound, full-time radio experience and various voice-over projects, she landed her dream job working in Market 1 radio and expanding her brand across the country. In addition, Wendy can also be heard on The Weekend Throwdown with Jagger, and The Weekend Top 30 Countdown, two nationally syndicated programs.

An adventure like no other...
And now the most unflattering photo of me ever:
But SO much fun & what a good stretch for the back. I can't believe back in my day I was doing back walk-overs on the balance beam... easily! And I can't believe I'm using a phrase like "back in my day." You always hear people talk about "when you get old", yada yada... and while I'm certainly NOT old, I'm not as nimble as I once was.
The oddest sensation is that my brain still makes sense out of certain moves, it's just that I don't trust my body to respond appropriately. And better safe than sorry, know your own limits and all that.
As I posted in a past blog, it's important to stretch. I've been trying to be nicer to myself... In fact, this morning I made sure to wake up 10 minutes earlier to do a few yoga poses. SO worth it. ::STRETCH::
I know a lot of people think that Miley Cyrus lost too much weight, which is up for debate. She certainly shouldn't lose anymore, but check out this before and after:
She looks fit, right?! I find that especially on Tumblr you'll find these "thinspiration" blogs which I'm weary of, MANY promote a very unhealthy lifestyle. I do appreciate the blogs out there that are dedicated to healthy foods/lifestyle/exercise & fitness and show a person's results. For them, it's motivation to keep going towards their goals and to maintain... for others, it's inspiration to begin their own journey.
Instead of a cookie (which turns into a ROW of cookies), I've been snacking on Kind bars, blueberries instead of candy... and I like it! Let's see if I can keep it going.
I also just ordered this:
I did a little research, apparently this woman is Miley's Pilates trainer. It'll be nice to practice something that doesn't cause rope burn and nasty bruises for once, haha, jk.
Maybe I can also find one of those gymnastics barrels on Amazon too? That'd look awesome in my small apartment.
Have a great day! Xx, W
UPDATE: I thought this was a cool comment, which my friend Lauren agreed I could re-post:
I love how she's so positive!
