I'm glad I wore my "they're kind of dress pants, they're kind of pajama pants" today. It feels like a weekend around here.
What's really magical is how President Obama's second inauguration ceremony coincides with Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Most people get the day off to honor these two great men. Did you know that Doctor King was not only a pastor and crusader, but he was also the youngest man to win the Nobel Peace Prize?
Just amazing.
Anyway back to the inauguration. The furthest my blog will probe into politics is the topic of Mobama's new hair. How much are you loving her new bangs? She's a style ICON... watch people run to their stylists and ask for this exact look:
Yep! ICON. Take note.

Thank you to Alisha for shipping my trapeze out for repair. If she didn't do that for me, I never would have gotten around to it. It's 15 lbs and oddly shaped, so finding a box for it is a challenge. She got it done.
Get well soon Adrian! Can't wait hang again soon...
We did have a practice last night we were able to squeeze in. Amy lent us one of her traps to practice on and I played around on my hoop:

"Oh hey!" Don't let this relaxed look fool you... It hurts like heck.
As does this:

But.............. it's like Bobby always says: "Circus hurts. If you don't like it, take an art class."
;)
Hope you're well! Xx
