We were good kids.  :)

Whoohoo.  First time practicing on our own.  Yes, we were trusted to do so.  It's amazing how far we've come in just a year.  We now know more than a handful of moves, so we took the opportunity to rent some space and work out.

Here's Mel and I all color coordinated for the occasion:

We hung Adrian a little higher this week.  (Adrian is my trapeze, so you can stop freaking out!  Haha)  By taking out one of the slings on top, this gave us enough room to give a good sweep back without touching the mat.  Amy, you'll be proud that I'm becoming a better jumper... ONE TWO... DOWN UP!  A-HA!

We had the opportunity to work on a lot of elements.  First, a warm up.  Then tricks we normally have trouble with.  It was at least a bazillion degrees, so it was nice to be able to take long breaks in between without feeling that we were wasting time.  We had the time b/c no one was renting after us that day.

We ran through routines and even each took a swing on the flying trapeze after!  I have no idea how we had the energy, but I'll never say no to flying trapeze.  I always worry that I'll forget how to fly and can't let that happen.  Anyway:

Here's my run-through:  Thanks Mel for helping me!

Did you know YouTube allows you to add music after the fact?  Way more asthetically pleasing than me giggling and wise-cracking.  Cool!

I will spare you pictures of my nasty sunburn... I should have known better and wore sunscreen.  Next time!

Anyway, Amy!  That Amazon was for you btw... I hope you're proud, I worked on a bunch of gazelle roll-ups to smooth them out.  Can't wait to show you.

Enjoy your day everyone!  xo
