Psychologist, TV personality and advice columnist, Dr. Joyce Brothers passed away yesterday from respiratory failure. She was 85.

Angelina Jolie recently underwent a double mastectomy after tests showed she faced a high probability of developing breast cancer.  She wrote in the NY Times: “I wanted to write this to tell other women that the decision to have a mastectomy was not easy. But it is one I am very happy that I made. My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer. I have always told them not to worry, but the truth is I carry a “faulty” gene, BRCA1, which sharply increases my risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.” Jolie wrote “Brad was at the Pink Lotus Breast Cancer, where I was treated, for every minute of the surgeries. We managed to find moments to laugh together. We knew this was the right thing to do for our family and that it would bring us closer. And it has.

Rumors stemming from the New York Post have many speculating that Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting a baby. But sources spoke to People and said “They are planning for another baby after her tour is over and things calm down a bit.”

Shakira may have to move her hips fast because Christina Aguilera might be headed back to "The Voice." Aguilera appeared on the first three seasons of NBC's singing hit and has just signed to return for Season 5 this fall and bring home a $17-million paycheck. Aguilera was previously reported to be in the $10-million range. Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green had been replaced for this season with Shakira and Usher; Adam Levine and Blake Shelton remained on the panel. NBC has said the original judges would return but has not specified when. However, Cee-Lo told the "Today" show late last year that he would be back for Season 5.

Angie Everhart has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and undergo surgery today.
Everhart is the second celebrity to recently speak out about her thyroid condition. Brooke Burke revealed in November that she, too, suffered from the illness. A month later, she underwent a successful thyroidectomy.

Elizabeth Banks announced with her husband Max Handelman that they welcomed their second son, Magnus Mitchell, via a surrogate. “My 2-year-old just sang ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ to his baby brother and my heart burst,” she gushed on Twitter. The proud parents’ son Felix was born in 2011.

Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie is now engaged to her boyfriend, Mike Feldman. The communications consultant proposed during a tropical vacation with champagne and a beautiful sunset as the backdrop for popping the question. She said she didn’t realize what was happening until he offered her the ring. This will mark the second marriage for her and first for Feldman.

Selena Gomez is implying that her and Justin Bieber are not back together. According to a recent interview, Selena was asked if she saw a boy walking down the street and he asked her out, would she go on a date? Selena replied with a "Yep." The interviewer than asked if she was completely available in every way and Selena again said, "Yep!" Meanwhile, Selena's mom is pregnant. She Tweeted a picture of herself touching her mother's baby bump over the weekend. Selena's mom suffered a miscarriage in 2011.

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has revealed that she plans to show her sex tape to her daughter once it's time for her to learn about sex. The 21-year-old revealed on a radio show, "When she's around 13 or 14...gets on her period, and is like, 'Ooh, I kinda want a boyfriend,' I think that's the year to be like, 'Look Soph...' I have a baby box for her, it has all the DVDs of 'Teen Mom,' it has my book, and of course, my video and some other things. I do not hide things."
