Taylor Swift dominated the Billboard Music Awards last night, seizing eight of honors, including Top Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for “Red.” Justin Bieber claimed three awards, specifically, Top Male Artist, Social Artist and Milestone Award. Prince, who received the Icon Award, closed the ceremony with a combo of his jams.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are taking a needed break. They are apparently having problems and fighting a lot and it all came to a head on his birthday on May 13th. However, sources tell Us Weekly that their romance could survive and reconciliation is definitely possible.

Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are signing on to become judges on “The X Factor” and only minor details are left to be finalized. The two would replace Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, and joining the returning Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell.

Scientists have named a newly discovered fossil after Johnny Depp because of its resemblance to the actor's character Edward Scissorhands. According to David Legg of London's Imperial College, the half-billion-year-old fossil was named Kooteninchela deppi because of the creature's isolated claws.

Chris Brown is at war with his neighbors and local officials who are requesting him to take down graffiti artwork he has displayed in front of his house with no permit. He’s been told leaving it up could lead to fines, but he doesn’t seem to care and has told friends he’s ready for a fight. In other Brown news, the LAPD is investigating death threats made against Brown. According to TMZ, multiple threats were said to have been placed through his attorney, Mark Geragos, but specifics are unclear, other than that they threatened his life. Geragos reportedly took them quite seriously and immediately reported the calls to the LAPD.

Akon is raking in over $40,000 a month but he made out okay recently when a judge ordered him to pay $5000 a month in child support for two of his children. TMZ.com reports that Akon filed a paternity lawsuit against Rozina Negusei to establish custody, child support and to legally recognize him as the children's father.

Ke$ha and Russell Brand were voted the smelliest looking celebrities by a recent British poll. Ke$ha topped Britney Spears and Kristen Stewart who came in second and third in the voting. Behind Brand for smelliest looking male star were Frankie Cocozza, Liam Gallagher, Keith Richards, and Robert Pattinson.

At the movies this weekend, “Star Trek Into Darkness” made $70.6 million. “Iron Man 3” dropped to 2nd with $35.2 million, followed by “The Great Gatsby.” “Pain & Gain” took 4th and rounding out the Top 5 was “The Croods.”
