The last remaining original American Idol judge, Randy Jackson is done with the show. Randy said "After 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season. I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity, but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures." This comes on the heels of a report that all four current judges are to be fired at the end of the season. Idol is suffering through its worst ratings in its 12-season history. Longtime producer Nigel Lythgoe is getting the boot, too. Jennifer Lopez is not being asked to return. Ryan Seacrest's job appears to be safe.
Last night on American Idol, Angie Miller was eliminated. Candice Glover will compete in the season 12 finale against Kree Harrison at the Nokia theater LA Live stage for the title. Former Idol contestant Lauren Alaina performed her new single "Barefoot and Buckwild". Alicia Keys also made an appearance and performed "Tears Always Win".
Jennifer Aniston has a signature hairdo which many fans will remember goes back to her days as Rachel on Friends. The actress and stylist Chris McMillan were in NYC, May 8th, to launch Aniston's new Living Proof Good Hair Day web series and product line. When asked about her hairstyle, Aniston said, "It's never honestly been a big deal to me . . .
