The 85th Annual Academy Awards celebrated movie musicals from the past decade as well as the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise. With musical performances by host Seth Macfarlane, Dame Shirley Bassey, Jennifer Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Barbara Streisand. As for winners, Ben Affleck’s “Argo” grabbed Best Picture, Ang Lee Best Director/“Life of Pi”, Jennifer Lawrence for Best Actress/“Silver Linings Playbook”, Daniel Day-Lewis for Best Actor/“Lincoln.”

Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra have split. Simon told Britain's Mirrorr "I'm now a single man. We spent time together and she is so much fun. But I'd like to find a girlfriend... I'm happy, but I'd like to find a girlfriend." Simon announced their romance in December, but they hadn't been photographed together much since then.
At the movies this weekend “Identity Theft” took the top spot at the box office making $14.1 million. “Snitch” debuted in 2nd with $13 million, followed by “Escape from Planet Earth” in 3rd while “Safe Haven” landed in 4th. “A Good Day to Die Hard” finished in 5th.
Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z have confirmed that they will be performing together this summer for a 12 city tour. The tour is going to be called the Legends of the Summer tour and will kick off in July in Toronto and end in August in Miami. Tickets go on sale February 28th.

Selena Gomez was reportedly cheating on Justin Bieber while filming Spring Breakers. According to Hollywood Life, Selena was cheating with co-star and rapper Gucci Mane. Selena and Gucci reportedly spent hours together in Selena's trailer. Set sources say "We thought it was odd that she was in there with Gucci. One time producers sent security to make sure she was OK. It almost became a joke, another employee said to Gucci 'Watch out or I'm telling Justin Bieber.'"
