Congratulations to Shakira, who gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, Milan Pique Mebarak, yesterday in Barcelona. This marks her first child with beau Gerard Pique. The name means loving and gracious in Slavic and eager and laborious in Roman and unification in Sanskrit. He weighed 6 lbs., 6 oz. and both he and the 35-year-old singer are in “excellent health.”
The New Kids On the Block will hit the road for a brand new headlining tour -- and are bringing along friends. 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men will open all the shows on the tour, which kicks off on May 31st in Connecticut. NKOTB will premiere their new single, "Remix (I Like The)" on January 25th. The single is from their upcoming album 10, due for release in April. The Package Tour will be the first time 98 Degrees has been on the road in 12 years.
Justin Bieber has officially passed Lady Gaga in total followers on Twitter. As of yesterday, Justin's total followers were 33,326,187. However, Gaga was close behind with 33,323,802. Gaga actually praised Bieber and his followers. Justin's acoustic Believe album is dropping on January 29th. Gaga is still reportedly still on top on Facebook.
Sheryl Crow will be joining the new season of The Voice to mentor Blake Shelton's team. The new season starts on March 25th. Sheryl said, "I've been friends with Blake for a few years now and am honored he invited me to be an adviser on The Voice this season." Blake said, "Sheryl Crow is one of the coolest people in the music industry and to have her as an adviser on my team is pretty darn cool."
A spokesperson for the Marine Corps Band announced yesterday that Beyonce was lip-syncing over her own pre-recorded “Star-Spangled Banner” at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration Monday. Kristin Dubois, Master Sgt. Of the U.S. Marine Corps Band told ABC News yesterday. “We all know Beyonce can sing, we all know the Marine Corps Band can play. We do not know why she decided to go with the pre-recorded music at the last minute.” However, she did mention that Kelly Clarkson did indeed perform “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” live, accompanied by the band.

Adele seems to be having fun with her baby boy and her Golden Globe win. Though she isn't yet disclosing her baby's name -- she did say, "I just call him Little Peanut." Adele also admitted that winning a Golden Globe has certainly opened up new doors for her. She joked, "It's surreal and hilarious. It's not my field. Amazing actors have these awards. The next step is Broadway and a TV show. I'm going to do a Whoopi Goldberg." Adele is also nominated for an Oscar for "Skyfall." There is no word yet on whether she will perform the song at the ceremony which airs on February 24th on ABC.
Rihanna gave her waiter the biggest tip of his career at the Laugh Factory comedy club. According to TMZ.com, last Friday night, Rihanna was at the comedy club with six of her friends watching Dane Cook on stage. When the bill came, which was $80, Rihanna asked her waiter what the biggest tip he has ever received, he said $100, so Rihanna gave him a $200 tip and said, "Now I'm your biggest tip."
