Looking for a great way to spend this beautiful spring weekend in NYC?  Check out this treehouse exhibit that opens today at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden!  What makes this treehouse so unique is that it's made up completely of wood from trees that were knocked down during Hurricane Sandy.  It's called "Sandy Remix," and apparently when you look at it from above it resembles the eye of a hurricane.  Instead of trashing all those trees, they really turned them into something special, love it!

Love 'em or hate 'em, Snooki and Nicki Minaj are most often associated with their crazy, colorful, and over the top fashion senses...but you have to see how they are looking nowadays!

Healthy, healthy, healthy is the keyword here!  I think she looks fantastic.  And as for Ms. Minaj, she said her photoshoot with Elle Magazine was scary for her because she's not used to being so "naked" - that is, no bright pink lipstick or anything.  Check out how naturally beautful she looks on their cover this month:

I wish she'd tone it down like this more often.  Kudos to both of them!

Guilty as charged - I LOVE Ke$ha.  I can't help it, her music is so darn catchy!  Clearly, I love her so much I'm dedicating an entire blog post to her.  She's gotten kind of a bad rep as just being a crazy glittery pop music mess - although, I don't really see what's so wrong with any of that.  This girl is way more talented than you may realize.  She writes a ton of music.  For example, did you know she wrote "Til the World Ends?"  Yes, the Britney Spears song!  Well, Ke$ha has now impressed me again.  You HAVE to check out her "deconstructed" version of her newest hit, "Die Young," it's basically an acoustic slowed down version of it and girl can SANG...let me know what you think :)

The other day I was walking around the city with my friend Chris killing time before a show (saw "Bring It On" - lots of fun!) and I saw this in the crosswalk:

This, my friends, is NYC's desperate plea with pedestrians to PAY ATTENTION to where we're walking - especially crossing a busy city street like 9th Ave where we were - instead of looking down at our PHONES!  Seems silly, but I admit I've caught myself being too caught up in my touchscreen and walking into somebody, or a building, or almost a speeding vehicle...and admit it, most likely you have, too!  We are tech-obsessed, and I just found this article on CNN.com with a list that we all need to start abiding by:  10 Smartphone Habits You Should Avoid!!!
