Here are some notes I have for you concerning this beyotch storm that's about to hit, but please keep listening to KTU for all the latest updates!  Get your battery powered radios handy ;)

Check out the NYC Office of Emergency Management's Hurricane Evacuation Zone Finder if you're not sure what zone you are in:  nyc.gov/hurricanezones

Please don't chance it, stay safe and evacuate if you are ordered to!

Alternate side parking rules and meters are suspended through Monday.

NYC subways and buses will be suspended as of 12 noon on Saturday; bus fares have been suspended citywide and subway fares in mandatory evacuation locations have also been suspended.

Staten Island Ferry will be suspended if winds reach over 45mph or when waters become too rough.

LIRR and Metro North will be suspended as of 12 noon on Saturday.

On Long Island, residents south of Sunrise Highway are asked to seek shelter north of Sunrise Highway.  Check Nassau and Suffolk County websites for updates!

In New Jersey, Garden State Parkway southbound lanes are CLOSED south of Exit 98 and diverted to I-195.  No one should be down in the shore areas.

NJ Transit and PATH trains will be suspended as of 12 noon Saturday.  NJ Transit buses and light rail service will be suspended as of 6pm Saturday.
