On November 1, 2009 New York Road Runners brings the world’s top athletes to compete in the world’s premier marathon, the ING New York City Marathon. It is a day filled with excitement, competition and community as over 42,000 runners hit the pavement across all 5 boroughs. And this year it is even exciting as NYRR offers everyone a way to JOIN IN TAKE PART in the ING New York City Marathon 2009.

Join Q104.3, Z100, 103.5 KTU, 106.7 Lite fm and Power 105.1 at the Clear Channel and The Food Emporium Cheer Zone at 59th St and 1st Ave in Manhattan. You'll cheer the runners as they make their journey over the Queensboro Bridge and enter Manhattan at mile 16! You can also meet Z100’s Carolina Bermudez at the Poland Spring Hydration Station at mile 17. Click here to see this and other Cheer Zones along the route!



Celebrate your accomplishments at the Official Post-Race After Party presented by Clear Channel Radio and 103.5 KTU at the Hammerstein Ballroom from 7:30p-11:00p on Sunday, November 1st. Enjoy video highlights, race results, live music, Coors Light beer, and plenty of dancing at this party!

How to get in: The goody bag you pick up at the expo will have a ticket providing free admission for you and one guest. Tickets will not be made available at the door. No bags larger than the size of a purse will be allowed, and all bags may be subject to search.
