Today marks the one-year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy making landfall in our area. Although great progress has been made, much work remains to be done. Individuals are struggling to recover and many communities are still rebuilding.
We are committed to working with state and local officials, community-based organizations and those families and individuals who were affected by the storm to find ways to help them going forward. That's where you come in.
We're asking our listeners to help those still suffering from Sandy's aftermath by making a donation to Robin Hood Sandy Relief Fund, which is leading the way to help both organizations and individuals with their needs.
Simply text "STORM" to 50555 to give $10 to help relief efforts.
Then share! Use #SandyHero and tell us that you've helped, how those around you managed the storm, and how we can encourage others to do the same.
