Retired 3 Star Lt. Gen. William Boykin joined John Gambling on WOR 710 Thursday morning to talk about the dramatic Benghazi hearing that took place on Capitol Hill Wednesday. Three State Department staffers provided a riveting account about the attack last year on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya that left four people dead.
Staffers provided testimony before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that offered a very different picture of what happened that fatal day than was previously portrayed by the government.
Lt. Gen. Boykin ripped the administration for lying and deceiving the American public. Boykin even compared this Benghazi scandal to Watergate. "This is very much like what we saw at Watergate as the administration has been a part of a grand deception," Boykin explained.
"The reality is they didn't want a military response, in fact, they denied a military response and I think that's a very ugly story that's going to get uglier," said Boykin. The Benghazi scandal is already ugly enough, but it seems that as more details emerge, the public must brace itself for even more unflattering details.
