The season finale of Juan Pablo Galavis's roller-coaster ride as The Bachelor was the most dramatic yet. Juan Pablo's final two women were Clare Crawley and Nikki Ferrell. Taylor Swift is number one on Billboard’s Annual Money Makers list. Billboard says that in 2013 she raked in a total of $39,699,575.60 dollars. What helped her was her Red Tour which promoted her Red album. Swift’s album had sold close to 10 million copies and downloads in 2013. Swifts revenue from six months of touring the States brought in about $30 million thanks to tour sponsorships from Keds, Elizabeth Arden and Diet Coke. Kenny Chesney took 2nd while Justin Timberlake came in 3rd.
Diddy has offered $200 million to buy the Fuse network. If the bid is successful, Diddy would convert Fuse into his cable-music network. Diddy launched his Revolt TV channel in October and buying the more established channel would give Revolt wider distribution and higher subscription fees.
Justin Bieber appeared quite smug and snarky in his deposition in Miami in connection to the lawsuit from a photographer filed against his bodyguard who claims that Justin ordered him to beat him up. Some outtakes include Bieber telling an attorney “I don’t have to listen to anything you have to say,” and in a separate clip get angry when asked a question about Selena Gomez, pointing and saying, “Don’t ask me about her again.” At one point during the deposition, Bieber is asked if Usher was instrumental in launching his career. Bieber softly replies, "Yeah," twice. When a court reporter apologizes and asks Bieber to "please speak up," Bieber lashes out and tells her, "'yes' and 'no' are blanking pretty, pretty different." Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth's new TV series Mystery Girls will premiere on ABC Family this June. The comedy, about two former detective TV show stars reunited to solve a real mystery, will debut on June 25th.
Selena Gomez's parents are “vehemently opposed” to see Justin Bieber return.
Over the weekend, they were dry humping at a laser tag park. The manager there revealed, (quote) “They basically hid in an area where the lights are off and it’s filled with fog. Justin and Selena stopped their game of laser tag and were locked in a full-on makeout session.”
Five months ago, Katharine McPhee was cheating on her husband and yesterday, they were briefly back together. Word is Katharine and Nick Cokas are just beginning to patch things together, but are not sleeping together under the same roof. Back in October, McPhee was caught fooling around with her married director of the now-canceled TV show Smash. Michael Morris almost immediately regretted the lapse in fidelity and dumped Katharine.
Lindsay Lohan revealed there are plans in the works to bring the cast and crew of Mean Girls back together. Lindsay says, "When I was backstage at The Tonight Show I saw Tina Fey and she mentioned maybe doing some sort of reunion. She said she was talking to Lorne Michaels about it. So she’s talking to the big boss."
