Taylor Swift will release her first official pop album, 1989, October 27th. Taylor was heavily inspired by the music of the 1980s and has been working on the project for the last two years. Yesterday during a live stream on Yahoo Taylor debut 1989′s first single, Shake It Off. NBC has confirmed that Don Pardo, the veteran TV and radio announcer who famously opened Saturday Night Live with his booming voice for every season, but one, has passed away. He was 96. He was the first announcer on The Price is Right back in 1956 and stayed with the show until it moved to ABC in 1963.

TLC has ordered additional hours of Kate Plus 8. Three years after the series’ cancellation, a two-part follow-up special aired in June and averaged 2.1 million viewers. Now cameras will follow Gosselin and her kids as they travel to Boston during a family vacation and get ready for the new school year. The new hours are slated to air in December. Yawn.
Keanu Reeves is coming to TV and he’s playing a character named John Rain, a character from books by Barry Eisler. The show will be a globe-trotting action drama featuring Rain, a half-Japanese, half-American contract assassin who specializes in taking out his targets by making it look like death by natural causes. The show’s source material will be based on Eisler’s series of novels featuring Rain.
Lindsay Lohan told Britain's Daily Mail she’s going to put out a biography. She said "I want to put a lot of photos and cool stuff. It will probably be like a trilogy, like Harry Potter because there's so many." Lindsay adds writing has been like "therapy" over the years. "I've kept journals my whole life, since when I was a kid and stuff and I think I have a lot to say." By the way, Harry Potter was fiction and there were seven books. UGH.
