Robin Williams was found dead yesterday at his home in Tiburon, California of an apparent suicide. He was 63. His publicist said that he had been battling severe depression lately. A press release issued by the Marin County Coronor’s office also stated that the Sheriff’s office suspects the death to be “suicide due to asphyxia.”  Even with his success he faced demons in his personal life. In the '70s and early '80s, he was addicted to cocaine, but called his friend John Belushi's death a wake-up call "on a huge level." Still, Williams wasn't able to shake his addiction and checked himself into rehab in 2006, admitting he was an alcoholic. Three years later, he was hospitalized with heart problem and subsequently had open-heart surgery. Williams had another stint in rehab last month, though his spokesperson said at the time that it was to twerk his sobriety.

Williams left behind a still-active film career. This holiday season, we will be able to see him reprise his role as Teddy Roosevelt in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. The sequel wrapped production in May. Williams’ other holiday flick is the indie family comedy Merry Friggin’ Christmas and he also recently starred in the drama Boulevard, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. Willams also voiced the animated character of Dennis the Dog in Absolutely Anything, an upcoming live-action British comedy that is due out next year. A Mrs. Doubtfire sequel was in the works too. Robin Williams leaves behind his wife, Susan Schneider and 3 grown children.

Conan O'Brien breaks the news to his audience about Robin Williams death.

Ariana Grande and rapper Big Sean are dating and they were just spotted enjoying a movie date. They took in a midnight screening of The Purge. Ariana clutched him close during the scariest parts. During the slower scenes, they kissed and groped each other.  The timing of this news corresponds with release of their duet “Best Mistake.” They first worked together recording her song “Problem.”

Ryan Murphy has added another attraction to his American Horror Story: Freak Show. Veteran singer Patti LaBelle will appear in four episodes of the FX anthology series. LaBelle will play the mother of Gabourey Sidibe’s character, a townie in 1952 Jupiter, Florida, who discover the secrets of Twisty the clown killer. Sadly, the Grammy-winner’s part will only require her to act; no singing will be involved.

Susan Sarandon is now a grandma. Actress Eva Amurri Martino and her husband, NBC Sports analyst Kyle Martino, have welcomed a baby girl, Marlowe Mae. This is the couple’s first child. Eva’s parents are Sarandon and director Franco Amurri.

J.J. Murphy is dead at 86, just days after filming his first scenes for Game of Thrones Season 5. He collapsed and died on Friday. In Game of Thrones he was cast as Ser Denys Mallister, the oldest member of the Night’s Watch in the hit HBO series.

Brooke Shields has sealed a collaboration with MAC cosmetics. The model/actress, famous for her bold eyebrows, has designed two “icon” collections that will hit store shelves in October. Prices will range from $17 for a clear brow gel to a 16-shade eyeshadow palette for $85 and there will be a brow liner.
