Neil Patrick Harris has addressed reports that he is a candidate to replace David Letterman when he retires next year. Harris said he hasn't had any conversations about the Late Show yet, but that he's a big fan of CBS and CBS chairman Les Moonves. Looks like there is a lot of love there! Moonves chose Harris as the host of the Emmy Awards the last two times the CBS network broadcast the honors, in 2009 and 2013.

Kirstie Alley is coming back to Jenny Craig. Alley announced yesterday that she wants to lose 20-30 pounds and because of that is returning to her relationship with weight loss company Jenny Craig. Kirstie first signed on with the company in 2004 and publicly lost more than 75 pounds during that go-round. Since that time, Alley has seen her weight go back up and come back down.

Peaches Geldof, daughter of Bob Geldof, the musician behind the Live Aid concerts of the 1980s, is dead at 25. Police in
Kent, near Wrotham, England were called to her house following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman. Geldof was pronounced dead at the scene. Kent police say they are treating the death as "unexplained and sudden," and officers are working to establish the circumstances. Horrible news.


Word is The Biggest Loser's trainer Jillian Michaels wants to quit the show because she is "deeply concerned about the direction the show has been taking. She is turned off by the mean-spirited story lines and poor care of the contestants." This comes just months after many speculated that winner Rachel Frederickson had dieted herself down to a dangerously low weight. Michaels "wants to distance herself from the Biggest Loser brand. Especially considering what happened with Rachel, her feeling is that there isn't proper attention paid to the contestants' health or wellness." Michaels had already left the series once, returning in 2013 for season 14.

Jennifer Lawrence is on the cover of this month’s Martha Stewart Weddings. Even though
Lawrence can be seen in a gown, she didn't get married and has no plans to any time soon. She was in her brother's wedding party; the bridesmaids are on the magazine's cover.

Syfy has lined up a a drama set in the world of zombies -- and it's from the people that brought us Sharknado. Z Nation is set three years after a zombie apocalypse hits America. It follows a team charged with bringing a survivor of the plague from New York to California, where a lab hopes to test his blood for a cure. Naturally, the survivor has a few dark secrets he isn't willing to share.

Congratulations to Kevin Federline – he became a father for the 6th time. Federline’s wife Victoria Prince gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend. He Tweeted “We are very excited to welcome the newest member of our family.” No word on her name yet.


Disney and Marvel officially dated Captain America 3 for May 6th, 2016 — the same date as the untitled Superman-Batman movie. Marvel made the announcement on its web site following a record-setting U.S. debut for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The lead actor for Star Wars: Episode VII has yet to be revealed, but an actor from the originals is returning. Peter Mayhew will play Chewbacca in the upcoming sequel. Mayhew played the legendary Wookiee and Han Solo's co-pilot in the original trilogy, beginning with Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope in 1977.

Battlestar Galactica is coming to theaters. The original series followed humans living on the Twelve Colonies planets and engaged in a lengthy war against a cybernetic race known as the Cylons. The revamp in the early 2000s started as a miniseries but turned into a full series that ran for four seasons. Universal Pictures is doing a total makeover for the big screen, though the project is early in development.

Lindsay Lohan admitted on Sunday’s OWN docu-series about her that she has relapsed and had wine shortly after completing her court-ordered rehab stint last summer. She first denied it to her life coach, A.J. Johnson but later revealed that she did. When Johnson pressed for info about her relapse, Lohan blew her off, so Johnson quit.
