Beastie Boys' suit against the beverage company - Monster Energy has ended. Monster needs to fork over almost $ million bucks for copyright infringement. The energy drink maker used their songs without a license in an online video. The suit has been brewing for two years before the trial began last Tuesday and centered around Monster Energy's use of a Beastie Boys "megamix." The megamix was put together by DJ Z-Trip, who the beverage company had hired to soundtrack a four-minute-long recap video of a snowboarding competition sponsored by the company. The video incorporated 5 Beasties songs -- "Sabotage," "Pass the Mic," "Make Some Noise," "So What'cha Want" and "Looking Down the Barrel Of a Gun."
