Sandra Bullock jumped to the top of Forbesâ€™ highest earning actresses list, earning $51 million from June 2013 to June 2014 mostly thanks to â€śGravity.â€ť Jennifer Lawrence came in 2nd with $34 million and Jennifer Aniston finished 3rd with $31 million. Gwyneth Paltrow grabbed 4th making $19 million and it was a tie breaker between Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz for 5th since both earned $18 million bucks.
Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco from Big Bang Theory have signed new three-year contracts, with each getting $1 million per episode for a total of 72 episodes in Seasons 8 through 10. Each had been making $325,000 per episode. The three will also get perks like talent deals and an increased ownership stake when the show goes into syndication. Other stars are also hoping to raise their per-episode fee.
The Expendables 3 is in theaters Friday, August 15th but already another sequel is planned â€” and it will feature an all-female cast. Expendables creator Sylvester Stallone says it will be called The Expendabelles and hints that the plot could see Sigourney Weaver getting half The Expendables team as part of a messy divorce: â€śSheâ€™d get the house, the kids and my mercenaries!â€ť
Vince Vaughn might be joining the second season of the hit HBO show True Detective. A source says Vaughn is in preliminary talks so nothing is set in stone yet. A few weeks ago it was reported that Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch were in talks to be the two lead roles for the season. The showâ€™s creator said that the season may have four new leads and it would be set in California.
Nickelodeon is working on TV show based on the movie School of Rock. Itâ€™s being called a live-action musical-comedy series. Back in 2003 Jack Black starred in the movie.
Ariana Grande and her boyfriend, Jai Brooks have called it quits after a few months back together. Grande recently lost her grandfather and Us Weekly sources say â€śJai just wasnâ€™t as supportive as he could have been.â€ť Yesterday Ariana tweeted, â€śYou learn a lot about love, life and the people around you during a time of crisisâ€¦I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who werenâ€™t really broke my heart.â€ť
Robin Thicke isn't making people happy lately. Not only did he screw over his estranged wife Paula by cheating on her but now heâ€™s screwing over his fans! Photographers caught him vacationing after he's cancelled concerts that his fans paid good money to see. Robin was spotted on the beach with his son and a mystery woman on a day he canceled a concert in Indiana due to a "scheduling conflict." Back in February, Robin called in sick for two scheduled shows but was later spotted at Universal Studios in Orlando with his son.
Richard Gere has relisted his Hamptons mansion at $47.5 million after originally listing the home at $65 million in July 2013, and later reduced the price to $56 million. The house is named Strongheart Manor, and sits waterfront on 6.3 acres. The property is 19,000 square feet, boasts two guesthouses, 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and was built in 1902. Other features include a 60-foot heated pool, a tea house mid-pond and a screened-in porch that spans nearly the length of the house.
Keke Palmer is about to make history because she just signed on to be Broadway's first African-American Cinderella. Keke will start her historic run in the Rodgers & Hammerstein production September 9th at the Broadway Theatre in New York City. This will be Keke's Broadway debut.
