'Blurred Lines' named Billboard's Song of the Summer!

Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" (featuring T.I. and Pharrell) officially clinched the top spot on Billboard's 2013 Songs of the Summer chart. Having led the weekly Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks beginning in June, the track is the first summer season No. 1 by a lead solo male since 2004. Billboard's annual Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular songs based on cumulative performance on the weekly Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Lamar Odom checked out of a rehab center yesterday about a day after seeking help for drug problems. Other sources are saying he never checked into rehab for crack cocaine. Other sources say the pro basketball player, checked into the drug and alcohol center on Wednesday morning and left yesterday afternoon with an assistant. Odom was later spotted in LA.  

Britney Spears will appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday, September 17th and her appearance ties in with her "top secret" announcement, which she is currently counting down to on her official website. No word yet if Spears will perform on the show but it is rumored that she may announce her Vegas residency with a special performance. She is currently preparing for the release of her eighth studio album later this year.

U2's bassist Adam Clayton wed Brazilian model Mariana Teixeira de Carvalho in Dublin on Wednesday. The couple dated for four years and became engaged earlier this year when Clayton popped the question in Brazil during Carnival. Clayton was engaged twice before – once to supermodel Naomi Campbell in 1994 and again to Suzie Smith, a former assistant to band manger Paul McGuinness, in 2006.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are reportedly engaged. Kunis was spotted wearing an understated gold band on her ring finger in LA Wednesday. Word is Kutcher had talked about popping the question to Mila around her 30th birthday on August 14th. One problem – his divorce from Demi Moore isn’t final yet. 

Dr. Oz is going to be a grandpa! His eldest daughter, The Chew co-host Daphne Oz, is pregnant with her first child. Daphne made the announcement during a taping for her show's season premiere and the episode is set to air on Monday. This will be the first child for Oz and her spouse of three years, as well as the first grandchild for Dr. Oz and his wife, Lisa. The grandparents-to-be also have three other kids, Arabella, Zoe, and Oliver.

Queen Latifah has just inked a deal to be Pantene's newest brand ambassador. She will be the hair model for Pantene's Truly Relaxed and Truly Natural Collections. Queen Latifah said, "I'm really looking forward to wearing it natural more often." Her new talk show The Queen Latifah Show premieres on September 16th.

Angelina Jolie will be bringing home a second Oscar, but not for a performance in a movie. Jolie will be receiving the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her volunteer work. Jolie won in 2000 for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Girl, Interrupted and will receive one of four honorary awards, with the others going to Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin and Piero Tosi. 

MSNBC announced that Alec Baldwin will host Up Late With Alec Baldwin, a current events and culture talk show to air Friday nights at 10 pm.The show is modeled after a podcast he’s been doing for WNYC radio in NYinterviewing personalities like David Letterman, Dick Cavett, and Republican political strategist Ed Rollins. The network said the show will begin in October. Baldwin's show will tape at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in NY.  

Taylor Swift and Breaking Bad have all earned a place in the 2014 Guinness Book of World Records. The AMC's smash series accomplished the remarkable feat of being the Highest-Rated TV Series after garnering a 99 out of 110 score for its fifth and final season. Taylor Swift has the Fastest-Selling Digital Single with "We Are Never Getting Back Together," which soared to the top of the iTunes singles sales chart just 50 minutes after it was released in August 2012.
