Adam Levine is a married man!

Adam Levine tied the knot with native Namibian and Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo Saturday in Los Cabos, Mexico and Jonah Hill officiated the union! Around 300 friends and relatives were in attendance, including Robert Downey Jr., Jason Segel, and his bandmates. Stevie Nicks, Levine’s mentor on the coming season of The Voice, serenaded the pair and also sang with the Maroon 5 frontman during the reception.

James Garner, the handsome leading man who was best known as the gambler Bret Maverick in the 1950s western Maverick and the cranky sleuth Jim Rockford in the 1970s series The Rockford Files, passed away Saturday. Garner suffered a stroke in 2008. Garner appeared in more than 50 films, many of them dramas. In 2004, Garner starred in the movie version of Nicholas Sparks’ The Notebook alongside Gena Rowlands as his wife (portrayed in flashbacks by Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling). He was 86.

The Backstreet Boys have pulled the plug on 3 shows in Israel amid deadly fighting between the Israelis and Palestinians. The group tweeted yesterday: “We are very sorry to inform you that the BSB concerts planned for July 29-30-31 at the Ra’anana Amphitheater have been postponed.” An official statement said: “This is a major disappointment for the band and fans as this was to be our first visit to Israel and we looked forward to meeting our fans. We’re already working with the producers on new dates during Spring 2015 and will notify everyone about this as soon as possible. Sending lots of love to everyone.” 

Skye McCole Bartusiak, famous for having played Mel Gibson’s youngest daughter in The Patriot, passed away at the age of 21. While investigators have not determined a cause of death, Bartusiak had been suffering from epileptic seizures in recent days. 

Jay Z and Beyonce fans found out the hard way that parking spaces do not come cheap when a hometown music star visits on Friday evening in Houston. Some fans used to parking lot prices that typically rise to no more than $30 for Astros games in Minute Maid Park were shocked to find out that they did not bring enough cash to park in nearby lots. The cost for some lots was $60 to $80.

Meanwhile, it’s going around that Beyoncé and Jay Z’s marriage is on the rocks and it looks like after the last show of their tour, they will go their separate ways and they haven’t been wearing their rings. Sources say that Jay Z hired a couple’s counselor to ease the tension and save their tour and they are trying to figure out a way to split without divorcing. 

Glee will return for a shortened 13-episode sixth and final season. A Fox spokesman explained: “We want to go out in a way that celebrates it. We thought that a final 13 episodes and compacting it and doing it in a straight-run was a better way to finish the show.” The show is scheduled to return in 2015.

Universal Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to Angelina Jolie’s next film project, By the Sea, written and to be directed by the actress, who will also co-star and co-produce the drama with partner Brad Pitt. It will be their first movie together since they began their romance during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005.

A death hoax took over the Internet Saturday night, claiming that Miley Cyrus was found dead in a hotel room in Los Angeles. The alleged cause of death was a drug overdose. The hoax is actually part of a scam intended to get people to click links that lead to surveys despite advertising a “video” of Cyrus dead body. Miley is alive and well!

Topping the box office this weekend - Dawn of the Planet of the Apes which pulled in $36 million bucks. The Purge: Anarchy took 2nd and made $28.1 million. Planes: Fire & Rescue snagged 3rd while Sex Tape opened in 4th.  Transformers: Age of Extinction rounds out the Top 5.

Meanwhile, Transformers: Age of Extinction made another $91 million worldwide — bringing its total to just over $800 million. Industry experts expect Age of Extinction to hit a billion dollars before it leaves theaters. Transformers: Dark of the Moon made $1.1 billion in 2011.
